I can't install ARGHHH!!!

As the subject... i can't install.... d'oh!

I downloaded (from torrent) the DVD image of kubuntu, (approx 4G)for AMD64 filename: kubuntu-6.10-dvd-amd64.iso.
I run a machine with AMD sempron 3200 processor AsRock motherboard with Nvidia card integrated, 512M ra, 250G Hdd SATA and an 80G hdd IDE.
I burn the image into a DVD+R Fujifilm, reboot my PC and choose to start from CDRom.
The first splash screen appear and and after it freeze.
I try with the text installation, and everithing seems gonna be allright, it ask me for the keyboard type (Italia, Italiano) and afterthis message:
Cannot mount the cdrom drive
Cannot found the cdrom? the installation was started!!!!

I don't know....
Please somebody can post a ray of light in this hell ?

ARGHHHH!!!! -- that is PERFECT English! I use it all the time, and I'm a native English speaker (OK, the American English-like language)........

There have been reports of partial installations, with problems, that turned out to be a bad CD burn -- so I think you cannot assume that the DVD is fully good, even though it begins OK. All I can offer you is the possibility that if you try again with the "Alternate CD", if you have a good Internet connection then maybe that is a better way to try it.

Ok, i'll re-donload the torrent and i'll burn into a Verbatim DVD-R...
After this only only a miracle...

You could always order a free cd that is burned correctly from here
