Movies playing on wrong screen

I have a notebook plugged into a nice big screen. I close the notebook usually so the display is cloned onto both displays. However, when I try to play movies, and other visual effects like the screen savers will only show up on the notebook display not the screen. How can I change this?

Nevermind. I solved it. In case anyone runs into this problem, using the ATI Drivers, you can go into the ATI Control Panel, under desktop setup set your primary monitor. You need to restart the X-server (either restart computer or Control-Alt-Backspace)... and it should worK!
