I recently downloaded the kubuntu iso file, and burnt it to CD. I proceeded to do an install on my laptop - all appeared to be okay. Only thing is, when attempting to set up my kppp dial up connection, and I have an error message that reads:
/etc/resolv.conf is missing or cannot be read.
I did a file search and the file does not appear to exist.
Prior to Kubuntu I had installed Mepis and installed the dial up without any problems, but decided to replace it with Kubuntu as it seems much more user friendly.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
