HELP! i'm a noob with wireless internet problems

I just downloaded and installed kubuntu 6.06 on my old laptop because windows stopped working.
For around 10 minutes, my D-link wireless adapter worked properly and i could connect to my neighbors wireless network, but when i tried to connect to mine using the "wireless assistant wireless lan manager", it would not connect.Furthermore, i could no longer connect to any networks in the area.
Other computers can connect to any of the networks without problem.
My laptop can also connect to my router with a wire without and issue.just not wireless.
There is no wep key and I can guarantee that all wireless info was entered correctly.

If any one could help, this would be much appreciated.

Type the following two sets of commands and then post the output

sudo ifconfig
sudo iwconfig
