Hi, I installed Kubuntu 3 weeks ago. And I still could not get my USB keyboard work properly. I looked for this problem and I found some solutions, so I managed to load usbhid module to load at boot time and it seems it works and get keyboard works fine. But it works after succesful login. On login screen is my keyboard dead, and I don'y know why, I try it in console instead of graphical login, but the problem is the same. Everythings work, right after ligin. I am realy confused about that. And it's not very comfortable to siwtch to ps/2 everytime i won't to login. Thanks a lot for any advice.
