There are lots of ways. Boot a live CD and use a partitioning tool to delete the partition from the drive.

You could also download a drive cleaner like DBAN, which will slick the drive pretty much for good. (Google this, you'll find it).

You could also just install something else and reformat or delete the partition in that process. I'll assume for the moment that you want to install Windows. Start that process and when you get to the screen where you have to select or create partitions for Windows, delete it or select it and format it.
