    WMV files...

    is there any way to watch WMV files...i have basically installed all the codecs available from automatix,synaptics,adept etc...
    Also i have another question...what do i do with .tar files that i tried to d/l from a site. it was a codec thinking i might need it...but i dont know how to install that...if anyone can instruct in finding .deb files for codecs... that i know how to install.

    The codecs for windows media files (w32codecs) are not available from the repos.
