are there any graphic editor like photo shop for kubuntu in german
by the way how do i install them?

I can't guarantee this will work, but try "The Gimp", with LANG-environmentvariable set to "de".

Good luck, let me know how it goes. I do speak a little German, if you have problems explaining yourself in English, but my German is very rusty. Ich spreche ein sehr bisschen Deutsch, aber ich verstehe es nicht so schlect.

didn't need to set the lang to de, aptitude downloaded it automatically

digikam, krita and picasa are more alternatives, all have german localisation as well. digikam and krita are in the default repositories, picasa can be installed via automatix and needs to be set to german in its settings dialog.

It was a mistake... when I type a smiley in an e-mail i type : o ) rather than : - ) which sort of got trimmed down to )
