Hi everybody,
I've been running Ubuntu and Kubuntu at home since June 2006 or so and I love it !
I recently read How-to : Speed up Ubuntu boot process and gave it a try.
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=89491&page=6
I turned off some of the non-important services such as pcmia, bluez-uti$, fetchmail, etc. as I do not use these and it is a desktop.
When I rebooted, I got as far as the log-in screen but my password does not work anymore.
Did I really dork something up or is it just an issue with the password?
I've learned a lot about linux and computers but not quite enough.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
