k3b I/O error

Hello
I use Pioneer DVR-109 writer.
I try to write dvd. But k3b write only 35 mb and show error ":-( write failed: input/output error".

Maybe i need to install new version dvd+rw-tools 7 and k3b 1rc5? But how i can do this?

Getting exactly the same problems. Hunted hi and lo but cannot find an answer. Anyone got ANY ideas about this ?

My system was working fine but presumably when I updated something in the last week or so, it has broken the DVD recording.

Some people who had this error fixed it selecting a slower burning speed.

Other people didn't .

The output from dmesg can help, as this error is sometimes associated with hardware problems.
