Sound doesn't work! HELP please....

Hi,

I recently just installed kubuntu onto my desktop after having to wipe out my windows xp hard drive because of a virus. My sound doesn't work and I have a creative sound blaster audigy sound card. Any ideas on how to install the drivers or how come my sound doesn't work? Please... any help would be greatful. I'm very new to this.
