Wow! I didn't expect it until the end of the day. I still have to back up my /home and /etc directory trees before starting the upgrade.

I'm gonna wait a couple days, make sure the unofficial repositories get un synch, and then upgrade over the weekend :-)

I think that's a good idea. The US repos are totally jammed at this point, and it would surprise me if other countries were not.
