[MULTI BOOT] Trusty: Dual Boot Win8 on existing Win8 laptop?

    Hi All

About to install Kubuntu 14.04 on a new Dell Inspirion. Its currently running Windows 8.0 64bit, so its in UEFI mode?

Looking at the Ubuntu Wiki: it tells me that I need to install a 64bit version of (x)ubuntu, Kubuntu in my case. Yet there is no i686 version of Kubuntu.
I'd rather get the right download first as downloads here are charged when overlimit.

Am I barking up the wrong tree?

    Cheers, thanks

    Andy

All 64-bit *buntu .iso file are identified as amd iso's.

      Thanks Snowhog.

With Trusty: Do I still need to make the various changes to the UEFI/Windows mentioned in the Ubuntu UEFI wiki or will the new release do it all gracefully?

      Cheers, thanks
