    Upgrade from ssd to nvme

Hi guys. I'm back with yet another query. I'll begin. I have a 1tb ssd but I'm almost out of space. So i purchased an 2tb Nvme drive. I'm aware i can use clonezilla or DD to duplicate the drive. My question is after cloning can i resize the new partition so i can use all 2tb of the nvme?

    Yes, most certainly.
Clonezilla can iirc use all the space if using custom settings, or use the same size as the source ( the default I believe), while dd will make it the same size no matter what.

So, you'll more likely just need to create a new partition in the empty space. In any case, KDE Partition Manager or Gparted can resize things just fine, though you'll need to do that from a live USB.

Edit: I posted to quickly. See jlittle's post below.

Your PC has two, at least, NVMe slots? Many only have one.

If you do clone the drive, mind that having both in a system at boot may cause confusion, both in the OS and in the chair, as both drives have the same UUIDs.
