    Get rid of upgrade reminder

In 22.04, I got an upgrade invitation to 24.04, it's a round yellow icon in the system tray.
How do I get rid of that? (Don't wish to upgrade yet; don't wish to make a mistake.)

You probably need to edit /etc/update-manager/release-upgrades and edit the last line so it says "Prompt=never" then log out and back in.

      That worked, after a re-boot.
I also removed the # from this line: # never - Never check for, or allow upgrading to, a new release.

Actually, after doing the edit, and closing and then opening Kubuntu, but before re-booting, that yellow icon was still in the tray.
However, it was "dead"! I clicked on it, and nothing happened (previously, it would ask for my PW).
After the re-boot, the icon in the tray was gone.

      Thanks.

is there a way to make it so this only shows up closer to the time 22.04 reaches EOL? say maybe 60 days before EOL? I'm not ready to upgrade, but I do want these notifications closer to the time that it's needed, just not 5-6 months early.
