During the last weeks I anticipated the change and replaced add-ons etc. (if possible). So the change came not as a big boom.
I'm still not happy with a lot of changes (no fireftp, no tab mix plus, no download status bar, etc.)
But all together: I can live with it.
Personally I don't see any change in speed. But I seem to be the only one, so maybe my computer is getting too old.
Luckily Mozilla made some changes I used to do with addons (like recognize which tab has focus, not closing menus when you open a bookmark).
Still no download notification at all. Nothing. Even the arrow they used to have when download was finished disappeared.
I realize I use Firefox in a pretty extreme way, so I guess a lot of 'normal' user may be happy with the new Firefox. Ah, well, I can live with it and since I changed things slowly the last weeks it's not as bad as I was fearing.
