PDC & SDC and Kubuntu Linux

Hey! I used the search feature for the keywords, PDC, SDC (Oops... I meant BDC), Domain Controller, primary domain controller... and got nothing in return...
So, I'm wondering... Is anyone sucessfully using Kubuntu Linux as any kind of Domain Controller

Probably not -- Kubuntu isn't intended to be an operating system for servers.

That said, Samba 4.0 supports domain controller functionality: https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Samba_AD_DC_HOWTO. A quick Google search for "samba domain controller" revealed a number of guides. Be sure to choose something recent -- you likely don't want an ancient NT 4 domain controller, therefore ignore anything about PDCs or BDCs as these disappeared with the advent of Active Directory.
