    [SOLVED] write with F1, F2, F3 and strg-F1, strg-F2...

    Hi everybody,

I would like to personalize my keyboard in order to:
    - write symbols or words with for instance AltGr-J, AltGr-R,...
    - write words or sentances with for instance F1, F2, F3..., shift-F1, shift-F2..., strg-F1, strg-F2 or even with strg-shif-F1, strg-schift-F2...
Please, how could I do that ?

    Sincerely yours.

Open System Settings > Shortcuts and Gestures > Custom Shortcuts

Activate "Examples" by adding a tik in the box next to it. Then look for the "Type 'Hello'" example and activate it with a tik and click "Apply" in the lower right corner of the windows.

Open a terminal or text editor and type CRTL-ALT-H and the word "Hello" will appear. You can copy this example to remap other keys.

Be careful you don't remap something you need!

Not sure about KDE built in options but you can check out Autokey https://code.google.com/p/autokey/ it is in the repos so should be easy to install.
