    Ubuntu Customization Kit Fails

    I have tried two different computers and two different ISOs, Both fail.

    Did you check the MD5sum for the downloaded isos? I have always found Ubuntu Customization Kit to be problematic for the most part. You could try remastersys. Its quite good and definitely one of the better tools out there.

    If you don't mind using something other than an Ubuntu base then SUSE Studio is absolutely the best tool out there. Nothing gives you more control/options than it while still being easy to work with. There is always doing a Gentoo spin but that’s difficult.

    What is the goal of doing an Ubuntu spin?

      Thanks dmeyer, no real goal, I just wanted play around and customize my own. I will look at those applications you suggested.
