I run Kubuntu (current), Digikam (current), and Firefox (current) in Canada. Apple and iPhoto have a great set of features to create and print photo-albums at reasonable prices. I was impressed by several that a friend created. Does anyone have a suggestion (printing in Canada) for doing similar albums from Digikam and Kubuntu?

I use Gwenview for all my photos and pics alike (what's the difference?), including viewing, editing, annotating, and printing.
This year I used it to print all my photo holiday cards on glossy photo paper. Here's the instructions I used:

although the instructions work for DigiKam, too, since the printing plugin is by using a KIPI plugin (which works with most of the KDE graphics programs).
