Doom 3 installs, but doesnt run :/

I got the doom 3 installation script from some torrent which I got from this seemingly official site

and I ran it and successfully installed it. I got the pk4 files and put them in the appropriate folder.. then I tried running doom 3 but it doesnt seem to run.

I opened up the terminal and typed doom 3, and I got this

Can't understand what's the problem. And I installed my ati drivers successfully too :/
