    So, until Mojang fixes that bug you won't be able to run any of your versions of Minecraft except the latest snapshot which, on my KDE Neon User Edition, runs great.

    The bug has been patched. Previous versions now work as before, and the snapshot still works as well. That bug didn't last long.
