I have a copy of Red Baron 3D for Windows 95/98/ME that I have been trying to run through Wine without success at the moment. Just wondering if anyone knows of a Linux version of a good World War 1 flight sim that I could beg/steel/borrow/buy?

More Early WWII, but Aces High (online multi-player) runs rather well using wine. And it's dang tough to fly - you really have to work at it.
I don't know what you've tried to get it to run but WineHQ reports it working in the past:

Thanks for the info oshunluvr, I did get it running on an earlier distribution (think it was Xubuntu 11.10) but having problems running it under Manjaro with XFCE. Online ganing is no good to me because I don't have a very good broadband service (I only have mobile phone broadband connection).
I'll continue with trying to get it running through wine.
