So I was just thinking would Color ware have the Ps3 slim as an option now, and if they do how do you think it would turn out good.

They have it int their page, and looks gorgeous. Are you wondering whether it will be good for Kubuntu? I've been trying to find out myself. I'd love a PS3 to be used both for gaming (the kids) and internet TV computer. The problem with PPC seems not to be the native, open source software, but rather some binary software (like flash-plugin, skype, etc). Once the open source flahplugin alternatives mature, I think it will be time for it, at least for me. -

if i am not mistaken Sony removed the "Install Other Os" option on the PS3 Slim.
the ppc version of flash would be your largest headace in using a ppc for web browsing. although you can work around it by watching the flash videos in mplayer. or vlc .....Mark Your Solved Issues [SOLVED]
