Hey. I was just finishing up my game of Atlantik (available in the universe repos, by the way), when I wondered: What does everyone else using Linux like to play? I'm just being curious. That, and Monopoly can only be interesting for so long and I could use suggestions.

Got Linux game?
battle for Wesnoth - quite good strategy game with rpg elements
It should be in ubuntu breezy repositories, and I'm sure that you can find it in backports repositories.

Re: Got Linux game?
Dark Oberon's quite cutesy and seems fairly polished. Haven't really found much of a single-player element to it, but it could definitely be fun multiplayer, and has potential to really do very well.
Wesnoth is a great game too.
I play a lot of Armagetron - it's a Tron light cycle clone, very easy to play. Also possible to play split screen with my girlfriend

Re: Got Linux game?
Mmm, would loove it if my system could handle it I never found Doom 3 very entertaining, just more of the same ol' same ol' round every corner, but with prettier graphics than before. Quake always guarantees good multiplayer fun :P Quake 3 is excellent, as is Unreal Tournament (GOTY, 2003 or 2004 are all good)
There's a Debian repo for Dark Oberon - I don't know if it works with Kubuntu; I compiled my own. (And good God, it's a fuss to do that.) But if it works, here it is:
