Xbox 360 to be released on November 4, 2005 for $299. I think the xbox live service is what pushes the xbox over the playstation although the cell processor could be competitive.

XBOX 360 Preorder
I was at Best Buy today and they said that rewardzone members were going to receive an email in the near future about preordering xbox 360. He said, "Watch for the email because they will probably sell out in a couple hours." He was probably yanking my chain. $300, for 3 power pc processors is not bad, not to mention the graphics card is really nice. It would be nice just to buy it and hack it. Use it as a computer in the living room with a wireless keyboard and mouse. -
