Diablo 2 - SOLVED

HI, just thought I would add this to the forum.

I just got Diablo 2 to play on my pc, and the only problem I have encountered is, when I wanted to swap cd's, it would not let me open the cd rom because the install.exe would be running from the cd in the cdrom.

Easy to solve but just incase those of you who are new or just are too tired to think, like I was at that time, here is the solution.

Open the Konsole and input:

eject /media/cdrom0/

or just

eject

like in my case, would do just fine.

Once the you insert the CD, make sure to click on "Open CD in a new window", to make sure it is mounted, if you cancel this, it won't work.

Also, do not select YES to create a shortcut to the desktop and do not run the video test. Other than that everything was a piece of cake.

Re: Diablo 2

After installing the patch for diablo 2 , patch 1.11b, I found out I cannot hear any sound from diablo. The sound option is disabled and I cannot hear a thing. Easy way to fix this is to copy d2music.mpq from the play CD to the /pathinstalled/Diablo II/ directory.
