I just found this one: Battle for Wesnoth
It looks really interesting. I think I will give it a go in a bit.
I can't believe I'm saying that, but I find its lack of graphics disturbing. They could be at least as good as in Civ3, which shouldn't be so hard. Otherwise, it's a good game.
The games I currently play are KMines (yes, it is as good as the Windows Minesweeper), for the really bored times, Settlers of Catan clone Pioneers and GCCG for Magic: The Gathering.

I have been playing Mahjongg for years. I use the Gnome version, much easier for me to see the tiles. My best time on the "Difficult" layout is 1 minute 50 seconds. Not bad for an old man.
