Here's a bit more of a write-up: Ubuntu One For Kubuntu And KDE.

I'd like to see this become standard in 12.10. Deeper integration with cloud services is a Good Thing[tm]!

Three months later, has anybody tried this? Opinions? Any word if this will be part of 12.10?

I am using ubuntu one in kubuntu. Been doing it for months. All you have to do is install it. You need gnome key ring to use it. Works fine. You don't get any indicators on files but it works.
