Xirrus Wi-Fi Monitor Gadgets, Widgets, and Desklets
Re: Xirrus Wi-Fi Monitor Gadgets, Widgets, and Desklets
I use Xirius and love it. Seems to be light on resources, and works good with my dark background. No conflicts with KnetworkManager whatsoever. One quirk that seems to be a bit bothersome though: If you save a file to your desktop and have the desklet positioned where kde places the file, you cannot see the icon for it unless you move the desklet out of the way. It won't let you drag anything and drop it under the desklet, but this can be frustrating if you use your desktop as a slush folder. Not really a Xirrus problem as much as a desklets problem. Only wish is that it would handle multiple wlan interfaces and put them in different colors on the display, but not that many people run multiple adapters so not really something I expect out of any monitor. Hope this helps you out a bit.
