Compiled version of GtkRadiant for Kubuntu???????

The above says it all. I don't know all that I'm missing to compile the code myself, so does anyone have this already? Anybody??

You might want to check out Re: How to set up GTKRadiant over on the Ubuntu Forum. This specific post documents converting the RPM package to a .deb using alien. Probably worth a review.

      Thanks!!!

Was able to get it installed. Even though gdebi says all dependencies are met, they weren't. I needed to install "libgtkglext". After that it ran fine. Now I've got to figure out why the shaders and Nexuiz aren't there.

I wonder if I "copy" some files from the Windows install if that would work.

      Hmmmm.

Thanks again. I wouldn't have got this far with out that link.

          Yep!!

Copying from the windows install helped on the Map lists. Still trying to figure out the missing shaders. I'll get there. I'm happy with this.

Yea!! Had the engine path wrong. Once pointed to the right area, all the shaders were pulled in!! Yea!!!

Also needed is libmhash. In Kubuntu repos it is listed as libmhash2.
