The sudo find -name command is a true gem, IMHO. I use it a lot.

Yes indeed!!! Since you pointed it out to me, I - too - have been using it a good bit I've played around with it and learned you can specify any directory to search by placing the directory name after "find" and before "-name":

You make a change to an entry, add an entry, or just change a setting it takes a while before it shows that change and in the process, nothing else can be done. Truthfully, I wish I hadn't mentioned this as it may have to do that all of my testing is being run inside a Virtual Machine (VirtualBox). It could just be a matter of CPU time as I only have a P-IV-HT machine. Great processor, but even it has it's limits after nearly 4.5 years.
I set my background color, and my highlighted color, and turned on blink. Looks great! But when I use a splash image, everything else was lost. In the grub block it's just white on black with no highlighting. Can't I have it both ways??
