I think it is safe to ask here. Is there any GUI version of youtube-dl which we can use ? Or any other methods ? I find it hard to follow certain tutorials while they are streaming online. Much easier to move back and front when it is offline. Also, the clarity varies a lot when I receive them as streaming. ie, when I watch a video it suddenly blurs and I lose the flow and an important part. I hope you will understand.

Yes there is, and I have personally used it many times. It's called Youtube-dl-GUI

LOL! Actually, I declined the request. When I firs tried that site it allowed a download without registration. Apparently so many hit the site that they decided to capitalize on it.

From where did you install youtube-dl? Why the mention of Debian?

I haven't tried the GUI, but the one on github is pretty old, relative to Kubuntu 20.04. Don't do a lot of downloading, but the CLI verison works just fine, and the only only option I use is -v.
