It's in the videolan repository. Rog132 is showing it in archive.kubuntu.co.uk (not (?) an official 'ubuntu' repository). I added the videolan repository as previously posted, and that is where I show the installed package is managed/maintained from.
Windows no longer obstructs my view.

An alternative is to use the Debian packages - Before the Medibuntu some Ubuntu users did use the Debian Multimedia archive. Now it is called deb-multimedia /1,2/
