Artist posts his first Krita 2.4 composition

Saw this over on the KDE Forum. An artist, André Vaz, shows the results of his first creation with Krita 2.4. Very impressive.

I see Kritka has CMYK support. That could be a Gimp killer. There is one little plugin for Gimp and it only allows conversion which is not enough for most people.

Now that's just cool. It's really impressive to see how Krita is rapidly evolving into a "showcase app" for Linux and KDE.

        Thanks for the heads-up, SR.
I am installing the Calligra suite as I write.

That is cool, but one should note in his original post that he only did the "colouring".

Hmm. Yes, very nice, but is it totally his own work? He says "I made only the coloring work on this one.", which I read as he 'colored' the image, but maybe didn't create it.

Now to castigate yourself SH....it wasmerely because of the fact that I was thinking about pouring a Cuba Libre and read the post instead. If I had actually polished my elbows on the bamboo tiki bar and perched on the stool covered in rich Corinthian leather, you would have beat me to it! lol
