    al.chemy.org

Found this interesting program on get deb. Thought I'd share it with people here.

"Alchemy is an open drawing project aimed at exploring how we can sketch, draw, and create on computers in new ways. Alchemy isn’t software for creating finished artwork, but rather a sketching environment that focuses on the absolute initial stage of the creation process. Experimental in nature, Alchemy lets you brainstorm visually to explore an expanded range of ideas and possibilities in a serendipitous way. "

You've added it as repository ? There's also a bug with Kubuntu, but that seem to be fixed (*I'm in Ubuntu atm and can't test right now)

        Re: al.chemy.org

I learned of this software with the Blender 3D training DVD Chaos and Evolutions which focuses on pre-visualization art for a project.

Section 3 of the DVD with Alchemy can be watched here and is quite interesting.

@woodsmoke - getdeb requires a compatable browser. AFAIK, firefox or midori work, most others don't...

To install just follow step 2 of the how to install then use your package manager to install or sudo apt-get install alchemy.
