I'm not sure what this is for but you've done a nice job. I personally think the cogs should be more square, not rounded. Just my opinion, though.

Thanks! I'll see about doing two versions then. I Use these for my personal art that I share. I usually steer clear of square. I know that is how KDE and Kubuntu have theirs but square lines to me seems to "rigid" and I feel that is not what Kubuntu is about. IMO.

You just posted what I was considering doing myself but I don't have your obvious skills. I took a pretty good picture of some of our flowers and wanted to add a transparent Kubuntu name to it but...well, I'm kinda art challenged!
I think that it would be absolutely GREAT if you did a scalable and "transparent" logo and also a scalable and transparent "Kubuntu" in a font that most folks would think is a reasonable approximation of the average version.
With those two items, I think there would be a large number of people who would say...hey...I've got a great picture that I can put those on and upload for the crowd to use.
There are several websites with instructions on how to use GIMP to do this sort of stuff but the process is long and tedious and also takes....."artistic ability" of which most of us have in short supply while you have the qualities in abundance.
So...again, for us of limited artistic ability but who can fiddle with a picture of our own or a doof drawing with the brush effect in GIMP, I think your project here will let a lot more people think they can participate.

I actually have the "Kubuntu" from the Art Wiki that I'm working on. I'll be posting that too when done. Have a 2 yr old so time is hard to find and why I'm sort of slow on these. Also, my wife hates the amount of time I spend on the computer. A lot of juggling!

What application are you using? Noticing the wire-frame of the base image.Windows no longer obstructs my view.
