default kubuntu wallpapers lookback?

Hi,
i came across this nice post on omgubuntu.

does anyone know similar post for kubuntu?
i have seen 3-4 default wallpapers off those i find Karmic's default wallpaper the best.

After the Kubuntu 8.04 the Kubuntu has been using the KDE wallpapers as the default Kubuntu wallpaper (?).

Did 6.10 and 7.04 use the same wallpaper?
The first one looks quite good with those gray / glass tones but when I try to open it, I only see a white wallpaper with kubuntu logo on it...

The 5.04 and 5.10 do have vector graphic wallpapers (svgz). The bitmaps (png) are exports from the Inkscape.

There seems to be a diffrence how the browsers are rendering the ImageShack pictures and how the imageviewers are rendering the downloaded pictures (Save Image As).

The only two wallpapers Hardy and Intrepid of ubuntu were the classics..
i thought even kubuntu used mascots on wallpaper.
bit let down. my fav is the Karmic default wallpaper. sooooooooo beautiful.. and fresh.
