Kubuntu Forum Header Graphic

I am asking any artists, and those people who know artists, if interested, to submit an image for the kubuntu forums header graphic. We need something that looks better than the crappy one I made. If anyone has better ideas for icon images post them here too.

Why not steal, err... ask Jonanthan R. for the right to modify the spiffy new header he has for kubuntu.org?

As an aside, I think it would be nice if the "no new posts"/"new posts" button icon had the distinctive "gear heads".

I have done lots of web artwork over the past 6 or 7 years. If you still want a better header just email me and let me know and I will see what I can come up with.

show us what you got. we need some unique crystal icons and a unique crystal header (unique from any other forum on the net ). Everything should have a transparent background perferably. Post your ideas here please .

Yeah that is a sweet looking header. The only thing off is the color scheme. Can you change the colors to match the theme a little better. Thanks Good job!!

I think I'll prefer it with bluer letters but it's a very good job!! Especially the logo!

Can you please be more descriptive? Should the letters be more blue (as suggested by Patrick)? Should there be a white background instead of a transparent one?

Well, the letters were as blue as they could be. I just added the shine and glow, which I guess would make it look more purple. But thanks for the suggestion . I'll see what I can do.

Basically, just the letters are like you said a little purple. If you could get a blue like the blue in the actual kubuntu gear logo that would be great. Or like the blue in the buttons at the top of kubuntu forums (i.e. home, help, search, etc.). Thanks.
