Okay, this one is COOL! Suggestion: Make the text transparent (try different levels) so that it is subtly visible, and the background comes through, and do the same with the logo.
Windows no longer obstructs my view.

What Snowhog said, AND...
Make the lightening appear to come FROM the Kubuntu logo, and not have the logo setting on top of an invisible source.
