Hide/ignore forum sections

There are sections in the kubuntu forum which don't have much interest at least to me. For example, the hoary and spanish section is completely lost on me. Yet, not only are they always there but also the posts written to them are shown in my "unread posts" section.

It would be great if it was possible to ignore those sections, not only in the home section of this forum but also on other places, like the "show unread posts".

As for hiding them on the home page you can do that by using the drop down arrow by each category name. I have not found a way to filter the results quite yet, when looking for unread posts, but I am working on it.
