Actually not an English major, I just found myself in a situation where I was teaching and it lasted much longer than I anticipated.

Yes, language changes, sometimes not for the better. For me, the difference between countable and uncountable nouns is sacred!

I'm from a very working class area of London and basically am as common as muck. "Fer" is actually quite mild!

Gonna 'ave ta take a butcher's a' new banner!

As a constantly changing language, any theoretical mistake in grammers is nothing more than a potential future rule to be broken in the future.

    Okay, whatever!

    Love the meme, @Bings.

@Beerislife, at least it doesn't say "less then"... (One of my many pet peeves, by the way.)

O.K., it's better. The first half of the message is appropriate and informative to all. The second half is superfluous, as those of us with more than 10 posts can't start a thread anyway. But, I'm not in charge.

    On to the next problem!

It's going to stay. It is designed to get ones attention, and it does that. The message isn't threatening; it's explanatory. Again, by design.

Okay, thanks, SH, I'll take a look in a minute...

...and I did. It's definitely better, although its color scheme is still startling. I know the point is to get the person's attention, so you can't make it too innocuous, but maybe keep the yellow background and change the text to something like a dark sky blue? The yellow would make it noticeable, but the blue would keep it from looking so ominous.
