timed at 03:07 (I presume my time, in UTC+12) that I naively wanted to reply to, but can't, because the forum is closed. If the forum is closed, how was the post made? Maybe it closed in the last few hours.

Where's the best place to reply, assuming the post is genuine?

It's genuine. The Forum was mistakenly left 'open'. I closed it properly after seeing the post. Reply, if you want to, in the Water Cooler forum. You can link to the post so it can be read.

I don't want to encourage people still running EOL versions of Kubuntu to make support request posts though. The point of EOL is just that; end of support.
