    Because
    - I don't have it.
    - It doesn't even look interesting.
    - Generals is a 2003 game, and it still strains my CPU a little.
    - I couldn't even play Doom2 anymore (which I have played with Wine), I'm too old and slow, and anyway FPSs were never my thing really.

If it's any consolation most of my game time goes to Railroad Tycoon 2, similar vintage, for pretty much some of the same reasons lol. At least I won't die wondering if I should have asked. You just need some young relatives and you can be in all the cool things too...

Actually, that gave me a spark, we need a baby boomers section, we seem to have enough of them around here.

if it's not to much trouble , did you use an install script and which runner?
I could not recall the specifics, as I was heading out the door for my 4AM shift
Which was actually a 4PM shift lol!

          looking....
Can't remember if I used a script to do the stupid Epic game store bit, or if I just used wine, and then pointed Lutris to the Metro game files.
I am using the tkg-protonified-4.6 runner, and DXVK 1.3, have not tried using anything newer yet, as Tomb Raider took my attention for a while. Seems it has been a couple of months since I ran it.

Seems to run fine on tkg-protonified-4.10 and DXVK 1.5 @ 720 resolution

I have an AMD rx 560 on an older i5 -3470

We need to move the last few posts to the gaming section, actually

And I do have young relatives, but my kids don't play pretty much anything on a screen anymore (they're 29 and 30) and the others mainly use Windows and are quite... boring.

Every one has kids around 30, I mean young kids, ones that still have their first set of teeth.
