[SOLVED] Can't Log in with Tapatalk

Besides the "leave this page and lose your post" dialog, I also noticed that TapTalk won't allow me to log in because it claims my password is wrong. It's not. It's the same password, saved in the app, that I've used since I installed TapTalk on my iPhone.

I don't know what's going on with Tapatalk. I upgraded the plugin to the latest (we were running a version that was YEARS out of date), but it didn't fix the issue. I still think that all the issues we are seeing are related to PHP7, and Open Source is looking into downgrading back to 5.5.
Windows no longer obstructs my view.
Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.

Tapatalk responded to my attempts to log in to KFN by saying I was entering the wrong password, but I was not. I attempted to edit my profile and discovered that it was using my old neb.rr.com email address as greygeek77, but wouldn't accept an update to my new email address. I attempted to create a new user as GreyGeek but it wouldn't respond when I hit the "Register" button, an issue entirely unrelated to KFN.
I solved the issue on my end by deleting Tapatalk from my iPhone.

          This issue has been resolved.

Open Source downgraded us to PHP 5.6. He was able to connect to KFN from his phone after I re-enabled the tapatalk plugins.

I reinstalled Tapatalk because browsing KFN on an IPhone is torture.
I can view some posts but not others.
When I first logged into KFN using Tapatalk I got a dialog saying an xml file was missing and to notify the KFN admin. Alas, I don’t know how to upload a screenshot from my iPhone to KFN

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

EDIT: I sent the screenshot to my email account and then uploaded it

You can see what it claims is missing.

Are you sure it isn't on your end; a failed/incomplete install of Tapatalk? I ask that, because Open Source had no problems yesterday connecting on his phone with Tapatalk once he had successfully downgraded the forum to PHP 5.6. The Tapatalk plugin here is the latest, and it installed without any errors.

There is nothing that the user can do about a failed/incomplete install of an iPhone app because all one does is push a button. I deleted it and reinstalled it and posted the results above. I don't know why some msgs will display and others will not.

                  Yeah, I realize that.

I just installed Tapatalk on my iPhone and saw the message you mentioned about a missing .xml file. This is what you/I saw:

I'm going to remove Tapatalk from the server completely and reinstall the latest version. That 'should' resolve any lingering niggles with Tapatalk.

                  Update (28 Jan 2018):

Fully removed Tapatalk and then installed it 'fresh' from the latest release for vBulletin 4.x series. I observed this message at least once afterwards, but not since. I think it's just a bizzare glitch that sometimes shows itself.
