    Kubuntu is awesome. Suggestion ...

I have been using Kubuntu for a couple of weeks now and love it. Its been 100% stable and fast.
However I only use PyCharm and Python3. I'm a simple guy.

I would like to suggest that there be more options for its appearance.
As in Mint Vera there are a zillion options for personal taste.

    Kudos to the 'k' developers.

KDE's Plasma Desktop has TONS more appearance options and configurations than Mint's Cinnamon or Mate desktops will ever have.

KDE has a decades-long history of having 'too many' configuration options that are too complex and confusing. It is widely regarded as THE desktop for those who like to tweak and customize *everything*.

I suspect you have not looked too deeply into System Settings, nor the KDE Store, or heard about Activities and widgets too much.
Or Latte Dock (RIP, sort of, mostly)

But KDE do take feature requests....

        Meh.

Mint is a lightly tweaked Ubuntu, as an Operating system.
It's users have been well known to upvote things wherever they can. No big deal, as Fans will be fans
Kubuntu=Ubuntu, quite literally, so it makes ranking Kubuntu a little more vague. *buntu don't seem to care about chasing website vote creds.

But really, the comparison needs to be Plasma v Cinnamon v Mate
The distro has little to do with the theming options available in desktop environment
Well, OK, Mint do make Cinnamon, which they forked from the original Gnome 3, and Mate is a fork of Gnome 2 iirc.
