Install the appropriate Arm server image for your specific device (IF one exists), then add the desktop of your choice -- kubuntu-desktop is the package to install.
Arm is kinda sorta hard, or rather not beginner-friendly, as there needs to be device-specific builds for the kernel and boot loader used. The software packages, even the rootfs, are readily available (ports.ubuntu.com)/
