New server, can we go back to previous server?

Now that the new server is "up and running" there are a few issues. The migration has gone very well I see.

Instead of trying to fix the issues, would it not be better to go back to the previous (fully working) server?

The old server might have been working OK but it sounds like it was running an old version of PHP, which was probably insecure. This is actually kind of topical at the moment:

Going back to an old server that "works fine" right up until some idiot hacks it is not a good plan!

I didn't know the reason for migrating to another server. Didn't know it was a PHP issue.

The migration was needed for multiple reasons, and I think we are in the clear now. Please let us know if you see any oddities going forward.
