Well, I'm willing to pay, until it's paying using paypal!

I just tried to pay for a 12 months subscription until I clicked on Order and got the Subscription Payment Method of
"Order Using paypal"! Well, I'm willing to pay, until it's paying using paypal! I'll keep my money before I'll use paypal.
Thanks but no thanks. You need to come up with another way for people to help out. Paypal is against my Second
Amendment Rights and I sure will not put money in their Anti-US Constitution pockets!

You can tell PayPal to use your credit card.

His issue is he can't buy or sell guns using PayPal. However, the 2nd amendment doesn't protect businesses from civil liability when a deranged psycho uses their business to buy firearms without having to go through a background check. Common sense dictates all businesses should stop supporting firearm sales until some sort of screening can be effectively administered.

Snowhog, Thanks for the reply. But no thanks, I've used them back when they came into being on Ebay and I got one scar after the other from phone calls at 3:00 AM from them telling my wife that my account has been busted into and credit is shot. I would take the phone and after a long discussion back and forth I would find out it was not my account they were talking about but someone else's. That happen two times. Thats phone calls in the wee hours but when it comes to email. Thats a whole other story. In short the emails were almost as bad as the phone calls. So, I will not use paypal for anything. And I would never trust
them with any of my credit card information. God for bid! Thanks fb

Thats what the background checks are for to seek out the deranged psychos. If a business is selling firearms without going through the background checks they should be subject to all civil liabilities and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, and do jail time that goes with it!

If by "Common sense" you mean register all firearms. We have more than enough firearms control laws on the books right now. Talking about "buy firearms without having to go through a background check", and blowing off any "civil liability". It's no problem for our President, who ignores the law completely. Our top cop, he give thousands of firearms to the deranged psychos in the Mexican drug cartels. Enough firearms to supply a small army. And, as of to date, I know of no one so much as being fired over this lawlessness! All better know as "FAST AND FURIOUS"! To date, we have lost a border patrol agent and no one knows how many will die from this governments illegally giving away firearms?

No, it's not my issue that I can't use paypal to purchase firearms, my issue is that paypal thinks that it's "their job" to regulate the sale of firearms. That's the job of the government, not paypals. Everyday people buy firearms using check, credit cards and money orders with no backlash of civil liabilities what so ever. The "civil liability" term is as fabricated as the so call term "assault weapons". A term completely fabricated by the left to conjurer up fear in the low informed. Not even in the military are firearms called assault weapons. Speaking of course from first hand, after serving several tours being paid hazardous duty pay and combat pay during Viet Nam! Thanks fb

I didn't see or read anything that suggested PayPal is regulating the sale of anything. They have simply opted out of allow their website from being used for gun sales. That's not regulation, that's the right and option of any and every private company or individual. If I decide not to purchase a gun, I'm not regulating sales: I'm exercising my rights as a private citizen of the USA. If I own a company and I choose not to sell or buys guns, that's not regulation: That's my right as a business owner. No different from your right to opt out of using PayPal altogether.

As you stated, regulation of firearm sales is a function of the government. I don't think it would be acceptable for our government to force PayPal or any other individual or company to conduct transactions it chooses not to. I suspect that PayPal would rather not be in the business of verifying gun transactions are legal. I also believe they wouldn't allow you to buy or sell illegal drugs, porno, or anything else that may end the company up in legal trouble. If I were a share-holder in PayPal I would support that decision.

I'm totally unclear on what PayPal has to do with the very poor decisions of ATF management nor was I aware that President Obama owns illegal firearms or hands them over to Mexican drug cartels. That's quite a charge.

On the other front, I had credit card numbers stolen a few times in my life and not once has it resulted in any financial loss or credit troubles. Maybe you were just unlucky. I've never had any issue with PayPal misusing any of my information and I have had an account with since their inception.

Thank you fireboy for your interest in supporting KFN. Integrating payment options into KFN takes work and unfortunately, I'm guessing it would be difficult to find any one payment processing company that everyone supports for this purpose. PayPal's choice to not allow gun purchases is ridiculous in my opinion, however, it is their right to make such decisions about how they do business. In all honesty, until now, I was unaware of PayPal's decision. As for the phone calls and emails, that truly is frustrating. I personally have never experienced anything like that with PayPal, but I know I would be annoryed if I did.

If you do still have the desire to support KFN financially, you are welcome to use bill pay or "Chase QuickPay" through your bank or mail a check. I can provide the details you need. If the security of doing such a transaction bothers you, I completely understand and want to say thank you for even considering financially supporting KFN.

              Thanks,
              OS
