I love kubuntu but i in no way like being sent porn link from people from this site, namely Don Johnson. I think this member should be banned and I do not want to receive any future link to web sites from this forum. If you have also received these please post below so the webmaster will do something about it!!!!! If this happens again I will never visit this forun or any other ubuntu forum as any distro who supports this activity is not one I with to use!!!!!!!!!

Um guys, I know this is annoying stuff, but this issue has been posted a couple of times already. The mods have been notified, although they're not yet online as of now. Timezone differences probably.
I think it would be best if we kept all posts within one thread in the proper section, don't you think?

satafterh, I can understand your annoyance, but please do calm down. Things like this could happen in any forum. It's just quite unfortunate that it happened here. This "Don Johnson" person is not really a person but a bot spammer. Please be assured that this is the first time that something like this has happened in this forum. Appropriate actions will be taken. The moderators have been informed about this. Let's just wait for them to be online to be able to do something about it.
Please do not think that this incident is supported by this distro, or by any distro for that matter. Please also consider that this forum is a volunteer community forum which runs on a server outside of the Canonical/Ubuntu.Comment

i had the same problem my 12 year old was reading the forum
and received this filth from this scum bag called don johnson
i have disabled email notifcation and have tried to disable the PM function
can the site admin disable the PM feature for my account ?..

You can block PM's individually or globally. Click on "profile" in the menu above (between search and calender), then go to the "Personal Message Options". there are instructions there how to block PMs. For example you could just enter Don Johnson to block only him, or * to block everyone. Don't forget to click on "change profile" to apply the changes.Comment

I have deleted two of my replies as they where posted in a moment of anger that I seldom have but my 7 year old seeing this was no good. Thank you for trying to help.
